We are pleased to have worked with the US Forest Service, Deschutes National Forest to create this video to be shown in their visitor centers. It gives an overview of the geology of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Shot in the fall and winter of 2015.
Sight & Sound Services is pleased to be the video production partner for fireXtalk, a TED X like experience of 20 minute talks for the fire service. Follow the updates at www.firextalk.com
Here’s an example of a Public Service Announcement that we produced for the US Forest Service starring Matt Roloff of “Little People Big World” fame.
This recruitment video for the Estacada Fire District used all sorts of different cameras and techniques, from aerial to Glidecam to Gimbal and GoPros stuck all sorts of places they shouldn’t go, along with media supplied by the client. We worked hard to collaboratively come up with a great video for this client!
Produced for the Deschutes National Forest. Shot over many separate days during the summer of 2014. We used a variety of cameras including 5d mk II, Sony EX3, GoPros, and equipment ranging from sliders, Glidecam and the XproHeli.
When the weather cooperated I finally had a chance to work with what may be the most exciting piece of equipment we have ever purchased, the new Silk Gimbal from XproHeli. It can be used on our drone, or as in the case, handheld with spectacular results. All of these shots are handheld and in some of them I am running as fast as I can through snow. Look for lots more shot with this great tool!
Produced for the Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center. They provided me with a script, some pictures and a request that it look good. I created all of the elements including the animated backgrounds myself.
